it’s never too late…
After expressing interest in chocolate footballs a
coworker made, I was gifted packs of chocolate
and a #13 mold by a co-worker to experiment
with. I wanted to make some treats for my son's
13th birthday —and in that moment, it clicked.
This was it. This was what I wanted to do.
At 40-plus years old, I discovered my passion; my
thing. Making sweet treats was not only something
I was excited about, but it was a skill that I would
become talented in. I’m beyond grateful to the two
amazing women God used as vessels to help guide
me toward finding my niche. I’m also thankful for
the journey I’ve taken, the growth I’ve
experienced, and the incredible support I’ve
received during my first year in business.
It’s never too late to uncover the purpose of your
path and start putting in the work! When you
support Lily’s Sweet Shop, not only are you
supporting a local woman-owned business,
but you’re also encouraging others to find what
makes them come alive.
